Chiropractic Offices Are Becoming Cash Practices

Imagine your patients paying cash for care. It comes down to a consultation, examination, and report of findings at the end of which they write a check and pay for care. You know them that which you charge plus they pay! Some of them even pay for all their care up front for a small discount. Imagine how billing and collection problems just disappear, how you can focus completely on your patients needs and helping them achieve optimum health instead of just how much is going to be approved or declined. Forget about approval or denials. No more bills getting cut. Forget about frustrating calling backwards and forwards. No more insurance compliance regulation. No more maximum visits. Just demonstrating value, charging what its worth and becoming paid!

So how is possible? The problem is insurance companies allow it to be very easy for patients to receive care as long as they abide by their rules. In the past, when insurance covered chiropractic care, there was you don’t need to demonstrate value towards the patient. If someone desired to visit a chiropractor, they’d find one on their own list and the insurance provider would take care of the rest. However, with insurance providers paying for less care, chiropractors need to re-train on their own patient education so individuals are prepared to pay out of pocket for something which used to be free.

As chiropractors, we know people need chiropractic first before medicine or surgery for back pain, neck pain, headaches, shoulder pain and several other injuries or health problems. We all know in many cases this is worth hundreds if not 1000s of dollars. We have seen families ruined because of a needless surgical procedures or reaction to drugs. When your patients say Id like to come but youre this is not on my insurance list or Id prefer to come but my insurance doesnt cover chiropractic care how can you demonstrate value so that they are willing to try it out?

It starts with an unwavering philosophy that the power that come up with body can heal your body. As soon as the patient enters your office towards the second they leave they’re seeing, hearing and feeling that philosophy. Your exam, consultations, and report of findings are directed toward the need for chiropractic care. How their own health will be better, therefore their attitude will be better, therefore their surroundings will be better, therefore their life will improve. This isn’t about what the insurance will pay for, this really is about optimum health, improving their quality of life and doing it with no harmful negative effects of drugs or surgery.
